Structured Abstract

This five-part humanities working-paper series examines the evolutionary anthropology of human ritual and religious systems from Upper Paleolithic shamanic complexes and Neolithic agricultural pantheons through the Axial Age transformations (Vedic/Upanishadic, Buddhist, Daoist, Confucian, Zoroastrian, Abrahamic, and Indigenous traditions), paired with formal game-theoretic modeling of institutional cooperation, elite overproduction, and strategic equilibrium transitions in historical civilizations.

Keywords: anthropology of religion, comparative mythology, Axial Age, game theory, predictive historiography, contemplative traditions
